How to order prescription glasses online?

Ordering prescription glasses online can feel intimidating. Here is the full step-by-step flow, so you know exactly what happens between your order and the delivery of your pair — and why you are guided every step of the way.

  1. 1

    Choose your frame

Browse our catalogue with the relevant filters (shape, material, colour, brand). Each product page shows the frame's size, the face shape it suits and a note from our optician.

    • Compare the dimensions with a pair you already wear: the size is usually printed inside one of the temples.
    • Click "Reserve in boutique" if you want to try them on first — it's free and with no obligation.
  2. 2

    Add your prescription

At checkout, choose the "Adapt to my prescription" option and upload your prescription. You can send it now (PDF, JPG, PNG) or later by email — either way, your order is confirmed.

    • The prescription must be less than 5 years old for adults, less than 1 year old for children.
    • If anything looks unclear, our optician will call you before manufacturing.
  3. 3

    Choose your lenses

Single-vision, progressive, reading, screen: select the lens type and the options (anti-reflective, photochromic, blue-light, thinning). Our optician's recommendations are shown at each step.

    • If in doubt, tick "I'd rather be advised" and we'll call you before finalising.
    • You can change your choice at any time before payment.
  4. 4

    Verification by our optician

Before manufacturing, our qualified optician checks the consistency between your prescription, your lens choice and the chosen frame. If anything needs adjusting, we'll get in touch.

    • This verification is systematic and at no extra cost.
    • It prevents 90% of comfort issues on delivery.
  5. 5

    Manufacturing and preparation

Once approved, your order goes into production. Allow 5 to 10 working days depending on lens complexity (progressives take a little longer than single-vision).

    • You receive a confirmation email at each step (verification, manufacturing, shipping).
    • To track progress, log in to your account.
  6. 6

    Delivery or boutique pickup

Choose home delivery (tracked Colissimo, free from €50) or free pickup at our boutique in Lyon 2. Pickup means a fitting with precise measurements and personalised on-site adjustment.

    • Boutique pickup is recommended for first-time progressives or complex prescriptions.
    • Boutique address: 41 rue de la Bourse, 69002 Lyon.
  7. 7

    Fitting and long-term aftercare

On delivery, you may need a small temple adjustment or a lens recentring. It is completely free, for life, in the boutique. And if the correction isn't right for you after a few days, we'll find a solution.

    • The first days with new lenses require an adjustment period (3 to 7 days on average).
    • If comfort doesn't return, book an appointment: we re-check everything.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to make my glasses?

5 to 10 working days depending on lens complexity. Progressives and strong corrections take a little longer than simple single-vision.

Will I be reimbursed by my complementary insurer?

Yes. We provide a care voucher to forward to your insurer after delivery. Direct tiers payant is only available at our Lyon boutique.

What if the correction isn't right for me?

Book a free appointment in the boutique. Our optician checks the centring, adjusts the temples, and rechecks the correction if needed. More than 80% of discomforts are solved by a simple fitting.

Can I exchange for another frame?

Yes, on the frame alone, within 14 days. Prescription lenses are made to measure and cannot be resold — see our Returns page for details.
